Peace is not something you find. It’s something you build.
Janelle C. Ford is a mother, author, and advocate for healing and intentional living. A co-author of Amazon's bestselling anthologies Repair of the Black Family and Superlative Women, and a contributing author to the nonprofit workbook The Younger You Workbook: The Path to Success and Self-Discovery, she brings her voice to conversations about self-awareness, accountability, and the power of personal growth.
Her work is grounded in the belief that peace is not something you find, it's something you build. Through her writing and the Peace Blueprint framework, Janelle encourages women to stop outsourcing their worth and begin doing the inner work that leads to lasting confidence, clarity, and self-trust.
Her perspective is shaped by both lived experience and training, including certification in Mental Health First Aid and education in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy practices. What she shares is not just theory, but a lifestyle she practices daily, starting in her own home as she intentionally grows alongside her school-aged son while continuing her own journey of awareness and alignment.
Creativity has always been part of that healing path; singing since the age of five and expressing herself through movement and dance remain personal forms of freedom and renewal, and her musical background includes contributing as a background vocalist on two NAACP Image Award–recognized outstanding jazz albums.
Through storytelling, speaking, and creative expression, Janelle’s work centers on helping women build the kind of peace that begins within and naturally shapes the way they live, lead, and move through the world.
